Firewater Public House

Danny and McCall Burau had a dream to relocate to Saratoga, WY and start a restaurant where customers could have a relaxed culinary experience in an enjoyable atmosphere. The two purchased an existing restaurant, made several major renovations, and met with the Wyoming SBDC Network to realize their vision. As Firewater Public House now celebrates four years in business, the Buraus say their business has been thriving — even during the COVID-19 pandemic. During a recent visit, Wyoming SBDC Network Regional Director Jim Drever says their biggest problem is that there is not enough seating for the many patrons.

"Business has been incredible, maybe even scary since it’s ‘COVID times’, but we're having our best year since we opened," said Danny.
